MY WRONG #8245-8249 & 117

Short Film

The first film by the cult-attracting comedy icon Chris Morris, My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117 was released in 2002 and won a BAFTA for best short film.

The surreal story of a man "looking after his holidaying friend's dog and a dog looking after its owner's increasingly unhinged friend“ it's a black, bleak comedy not for the faint hearted.

Adrian's electronic score offers a slicing, dissonant, dislocating depiction of a man with a diminishing sense of reality and a dog with too much!

My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117 is available on the DVD Cinema 16: European Short Films together with contributions by luminaries such as Jean Luc Godard and Lars von Trier, and was the first release on Warp Records' film arm, Warp Films.

Reviews

"The result is like a Looney Tunes short for a generation raised on video nasties and rave music."
Daily Telegraph

"Following in the footsteps of David Lynch, Morris also has a hand in the sound design, creating an eerie electro-ambient accompaniment to the proceedings. Adding to the general uncertainty, the score also proves to be slightly nauseating (in a good way)."
